Skate

Skates are found in all the oceans of the world and are popular in many cuisines.  The fish is flat, diamond shaped and has two edible wings. Fan-shaped, with a ribbed texture, skate fillets look like angel wings, pristinely white with occasional shades of pink. While it is more plain than lobster, it is no less sweet or delicate and has a springy texture.  It is a very soft and gentle bite, with both a mild and nutty flavor.

We will ship your order overnight via UPS to arrive on Thursdays or Fridays. We need to have your order in by Tuesday.

Important information you should know about the processing of your order: The prices are per pound for whole round fish.  We weigh up the fish and then process it to the customer’s specifications you must indicate in your order whether you want the fish in fillets, butterflied, steaks or just whole scaled and gutted.
