Frozen Spanish Baby Octopus (Pulpo Gallego)

  • The Spanish Baby Octopus, also known as “pulpo gallego,” comes from the northwestern Spanish region of Galicia, where octopus is a specialty and a common catch for local fishermen. Baby Octopus has a delicate flavor that is faintly sweet and resembles that of a sea scallop. Something to note is that the taste of octopus can be rather mild, therefore the ingredients used when cooked become quite pronounced.
