One teaspoon of olive oil
Sauté Fjord Trout
Heat the pan at medium high for about one minute
As you heat up the pan, rub some olive oil on the side skin of the fjord trout.
Add salt and pepper to taste
Do not add any oil in the pan, simply place the fish skin side down onto the hot pan and let it stay there
With a spatula press the fish down so the skin cooks evenly, you will see that the color will begin to change throughout the fish, once you see that the vibrant orange color is midway through the fish, it is time to flip it over for about one minute.
You want to maintain its vibrant orange color in the middle of the fish to make sure you are not overcooking it
Place it on a plate and let it rest for three to four minutes
